A PLACE FOR LEARNING AND HEALING

Sedona, Arizona, the town of energy healers, energy readers and every kind of psychic you can imagine living in the vicinity is a fascinating place to visit.

There are seminars available for visitors every night of the week. Seminars on Aura cleansing, chakra balancing, manifesting your destiny, hypnosis, crystal healing and so much more.

Sedona has become a focal gathering place for the many different modalities and healing methods connected with energy as it has a number of vorticies (vortex) situated around the town.

Those people involved in the energy and healing work and teachings feel that their abilities to use their skills and develop their personal potential is due to living close to these vorticies.

I became curious as to how this might work and what a vortex actually was. I found a guidebook that gave me an understanding I liked.

What is a Vortex?

The scale by which we measure the aliveness of something or someone is called health. When something is healthy it is full of vibrancy and good energy. Its like everything appears brighter and stronger. Scientists have begun to consider the earth an living organism and with that thought comes a definition of the places on the earth that are healthier and more vibrant than others.

Such a place would be called a vortex: A place in Nature where the earth is exceptionally healthy.  

Sedona is an exceptionally beautiful place with sandstone formations for red, beige and orange, green forests and blue sky. It seems to vibrate with colour or energy. There are rock formations around the town which are so eye-catching that they have been pinpointed as having a higher energy level compared to other parts of the area.

So the definition of a vortex includes a strong state of health, visible eye-catching beauty and a sense of energy. Added to this is what this energy does .. It is said to act like an amplifier. An amplifier magnifies what we do.

So as people are attracted to these energy places, what they do, think, create and feel becomes magnified, clearer, more possible to do.

I believe we can create our own energy vortices where ever we live. When we gather as people and share our energy, our thoughts and our support with each other, all involved become more vibrant individuals. We energize each other, often create common goals, and we start seeing the beauty and value in each person. As we create and be together we visibly increase in health (strength), energy and beauty. Our lives become enriched by being with each other. Often our ability to do things in our lives becomes easier with the support of each other.

So I am back home now with the awareness of how powerful the gathering of energies in one place can be. I see it possible through the people in my life and the sharing of my energies with others.
